Eye Doctor in San Diego

I have worn contacts and glasses for over 50 years and this experience was the best I have had getting my eyes examined. The tech Ashley was amazing…she did preliminary stuff before the optometrist did the exam. She was very knowledgeable and cleaned my glasses for me better than I ever have. Christine Thiem, OD was very thorough and patient while getting my prescription figured out. She found a large cataract in my left eye and made the referral to Kaiser on my behalf for cataract surgery. I did not get my prescription filled because she informed it would be wiser to wait until after the surgery since the cataract is impacting my vision. She took so much time with me answering all my questions. I feel lucky to have found this place after reading all of the stellar reviews here on Yelp. I will go back after my cataract surgery after healing to get re-examined. I highly recommend Total Vision and their optometrist Christine Thiem, OD.

The staff and Drs at Total Vision are great! Michele is the office manager,always helpful and today she went above and beyond for me. Then Gina works up front checking you in and out and whatever she needs to do to help you and has worked here for a very long time. Ashley the tech was extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable doing the tests. Dr Thiem was also extremely professional and very nice and thorough. My visit was a great experience!

My experience at Total Vision Sports Arena and the entire staff was exceptional. From the moment my family and I arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, professional, and helpful. Even though it was our first visit using my husband’s new insurance, they made us feel completely comfortable and valued, as if we had been longtime patients.

The office is very organized, and the exam process was quick, easy, and efficient. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the coffee and hot chocolate station, which my kids absolutely loved.

Customer service means a lot to me, and their commitment to providing such a warm and caring experience truly stood out. I sincerely appreciate the level of care and professionalism they showed my family. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent service and a positive experience. 100% recommended.
